Thank you, Michelle Obama, for wearing your expensive white dress to the oil disaster and telling everyone to send what they could to help the Gulf folks out.  Wouldn't it have been better to wear your low cost jeans, fishing boots, long gloves and actually help to do some of the dirty work?

 

The reason I ask this is I've watched your actions very closely after telling ME and every other American to do their part.  It seems not too long afterward you head to yet another country to go shopping.  I suppose American goods aren't quite good enough for you, are they?  And is the fact, that Americans might keep jobs to keep you and others like you in clothing way down on your list of fun things to do?

 

Then there are the trips, like your current one to Spain, just after the last one to Maine, and before the next one to Nantucket, where you will meet the King of Spain and, of course, go shopping, shopping, shopping - at least in Spain.  I'm amazed, however, after begging all of us to send our money to help the Gulf, Haiti, etc., that you needed THIRTY rooms in a 5-start hotel for the fun crowd you took with you, in addition to the security people and the rest of your entourage.  But, as your servants, I suppose the American people, who are at about 17% unemployment are so very, very happy to pick up the tab for your senseless, greedy, unthinking idiocy in taking these trips.  That 17% is the real number, counting the ones who dropped out of the job market after not getting employed for the last two years.  Aren't REAL numbers fun, Michelle?

 

But then, girl, I figured while hubby was running for office and you were ordering $500 tins of caviar and bottle water as a 'snack', you probably were not the type to figure out how to divide loaves and fishes to feed the masses, as long as you and yours were fed.

 

Frankly, I don't mind you visiting heads of state occasionally, but let's not make a perpertual habit of  using that as an excuse to waste our money getting you and your entourage over to the shopping meccas, okay?  I would love to buy a new dress, or pair of jeans, or anything else at Walmart, but silly me, I keep thinking gosh, I do not have the money and don't intend to make everyone else pay for what I lack.  You might want to consider that, girlfriend, especially since you DO have money of your own.

 

By the way, if you want to have a date with hubby, instead of spending tens of thousands of the taxpayer's dollars, why not fix a nice supper in one of the many rooms of that nice mansion we're paying for already. 

 

In other words, Michelle, we are so damned tired of you telling us to send, send, send our money to help the world, while you spend, spend, spend our money for your selfishness.  We might like a date with OUR husbands, too.  We might like to take a VACATION, too.  We might like to BUY a dress or jeans occasionally, too.  But as long as you and your hubby have your fingers in our wallets and change purses, that's not very likely!
